Boston, June 15, 2021 - A program of TiE Boston, TiE ScaleUp, New England’s “1st and Only Seed + to Series A Accelerator Program,” is proud to announce the completion of its 7th Cohort with a promising group of start-up companies that are tackling major challenges across different sectors from healthcare to e-commerce. The ScaleUp program, which began in 2015, now proudly counts 93 dynamic start-ups among its graduating companies.

Alicia Tulsee, Founder and CEO of Moxie Scrubs Apparel, stated “As a solo founder, TiE ScaleUp has been an invaluable program and community to be a part of. From all of the amazing mentors who truly care and are dedicated to helping you wherever you are on your journey, to the amazing cohort of other founders like you, to all of the resources and programs available to you and your team. TiE ScaleUp helped us build a strong foundation and take our start up to the next level.”

Commencing in February 2021, the ScaleUp Program was held in a virtually engaging format. The carefully selected companies completed a uniquely curated 13 session curriculum hosted by industry experts, thought leaders and serial entrepreneurs. Each participating company received 1:1 coaching sessions from industry experts, and dedicated mentor support from the most sought after serial entrepreneurs in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The program concluded with a virtual graduation ceremony on June 10th.

“TIE ScaleUp is a unique program for early stage startups that is designed around content, mentorship, and being part of a startup community,” shares TiE ScaleUp Curriculum Lead and Mentor, Pramod Kalyanasundaram.  “We have focused a lot on the curriculum to provide the necessary breadth and depth that the cohort companies need. As a mentor, I've had a fantastic experience working with a cohort company and seeing the progress the company makes as they go through the program. We wish the cohort companies success on their path to scale.”
